Participants will enjoy eco-friendly accommodations carefully selected for their commitment to sustainability and exceptional service. Your stay includes access to various eco-lodging options, ranging from cozy rustic cabins in the heart of the forest to charming beachfront bungalows. These accommodations, chosen for their recognized eco-friendly practices, contribute to Costa Rica’s global reputation for responsible hospitality. Our mission is to provide participants with the unique opportunity to fully immerse themselves in the essence and ecosystems of each destination, allowing for a meaningful and environmentally conscious connection with both themselves and nature.

During our orientation call, we’ll discuss each participant’s dietary preferences in detail to customize every included meal accordingly. Additionally, for meals not covered by the program, we will do our best to provide restaurant recommendations with menus adapted to your specific diet. Costa Rica is well-suited for all types of tourism, and there are typically options available to cater to everyone.

During your experience, you will be guided by an expert in Costa Rica, our founder José Acuña. José is a travel designer, host, and tour guide with over 16 years of experience in diverse and innovative tourism operations, serving clients both in Costa Rica and abroad. He is not only passionate about this country since his childhood but has also explored its wonders extensively. His undeniable connection with Costa Rica and ongoing pursuit of personal growth have endowed him with a unique ability to deeply connect with people. José is more than just a nature and region expert; he is a visionary who will reveal a unique perspective of the surroundings.

Sam, our co-founder and experience designer, will also be there. She infuses this adventure with authentic passion, reflecting in her meticulous approach and commitment to quality in every aspect of ‘Find Your Center’. Besides coordinating exceptional events, she plays a pivotal role in crafting reflective and growth opportunities within the program. Sam’s commitment to serving others ensures each experience is both memorable and enriching. Her profound love for Costa Rica positions her as an outstanding ambassador of local culture, sharing its richness and authenticity.

Keeping our groups intentionally small is geared towards offering a personalized experience, fostering increased trust, and promoting a stronger sense of community, with a maximum of 12 participants. Aspiring participants go through an orientation call, where we discuss their expectations for the journey. This process ensures that individuals resonate with and align with the unique experience and positive energy we seek to maintain within the group.

The program is exclusively for adults (18 years and older). We recommend that participants be moderately physically active individuals. While the activities aren’t physically demanding, they offer opportunities for participants to explore beyond their comfort zones, leading to adventurous and impactful moments of self-discovery. If you have any physical conditions, we can discuss it during our orientation call. Our goal is to provide this experience to individuals who are genuinely interested and to accommodate any specific needs to the best of our ability

During the program dates, Costa Rica undergoes a fascinating climatic transition from the dry to the green season. During this period, the weather is notably diverse, featuring sunny days with the possibility of gradually increasing rainfall. While we still enjoy generous sunshine, nature awakens with the arrival of the first rains, gradually transforming the lush vegetation. This unique climatic balance creates a distinct atmosphere, providing travelers the opportunity to experience the transition between seasons while enjoying the beauty of a landscape renewed by the onset of precipitation. Additionally, it’s worth noting that during these months, it is not the peak tourist season, allowing travelers to savor the serenity of the surroundings without large crowds, making it the perfect time to explore Costa Rica in a quieter and more authentic manner.
