From Vision to Reality: Your Signature Experience Process
Creating your experience is an adventure in itself, starting with understanding what truly resonates with you. We believe every trip through Costa Rica should feel like a personal discovery, designed with care and attention to what inspires you most. From the first idea to the last detail, we’re by your side, ensuring that each moment reflects the true essence of Costa Rica and is exactly as you envisioned.
1) Discovery and Planning
Once we receive your inquiry, we’ll focus on understanding exactly what you’re looking for. You’ll receive a pre-trip form to capture your interests and preferences, followed by access to our calendar where you can easily schedule your first call.
2) The Exploration Call
This call is where the magic begins. We explore your ideas, your inspirations, and discuss the possibilities that will shape your experience in Costa Rica. To get started on crafting your custom itinerary, we request a $150 deposit, which is fully applied toward your final payment if you choose to move forward.
3) Itinerary Design and Quote
Within 7 days, we’ll send you a thoughtfully designed itinerary and pricing that reflects what you truly want from your trip. If the itinerary meets your expectations, we’ll proceed with securing all your reservations. To confirm the arrangements for hotels, transportation, and other key details, we’ll request an initial payment to finalize the bookings. Need adjustments? We’ll work closely with you to fine-tune the itinerary. For minor tweaks, an updated version will be ready in 3 days. For more significant changes, the new design will take 7 days. You’ll also receive a link to book a final call to ensure everything is just right before we move forward.
4) Final Review and Confirmation
After the second call, we’ll make any final adjustments needed until your itinerary feels like a perfect reflection of your desires. Once you’re happy, we’ll confirm the trip, finalize all the details, and prepare everything so you can focus on the experience itself, not the logistics. Your remaining balance will be settled according to our Payment Policies.

For Signature Experience Design and Premium Signature Experience, we recommend booking at least six months in advance due to the personalized nature of these experiences and availability. For peak seasons, such as December 18th to January 5th and Easter, booking a year in advance is ideal.
For Costa Rica Intro Tours: These tours offer more flexibility. José’s availability each month depends on longer trips already booked, but there are usually free days between these. If he’s available, you may be able to book as close as one month in advance. The entire process, from initial inquiry to final confirmation, can take between two to three weeks, depending on the complexity and any adjustments needed.
